Allergy treatment

I went to my gp on the 3rd of October because I' ve been coughing for two weeks and I thought it was due to allergies and post nasal drip. I have a history of this problem but it is particularly bad this year. He confirmed the problem and gave me a cortisone injection. I also took Clarityne. A week later I went back as the cough was no better. He prescribed Nasacor, Xyzal and Budeflam inhalant and told me I had bronchial spasms due to stress and the post nasal drip. (I' m 36 and have never suffered from asthma.) The cough got better but didn' t go away completely. I ran out of Budeflam two days ago and now I' m coughing as badly as ever. Should I just get more Budeflam, or should I see some sort of specialist?
