agressive alzheimer''s sufferer

I am desperate for advice as to how to manage/treat extremely agressive behaviour in my 80 year old mother. She''s been placed on Zoxadon 0,5mg twice a day which worked fine until about a month ago. The doctor upped the dose with half a tablet at lunch but with no significant effect.

I suggest that you reconsult your doctor for a prescription for medication to control her aggression. Unfortunately, there is nothing available over the counter and you will have to consult a specialist.
