Age vs Love

An acquintance recently got involved with someone much younger than her. She is 42 and he is 19 ... She has 1 child - 6 years her ''boyfriend''s'' junior.
Met in April, had long distance contact (staying 4 hours apart), saw each other for the first time again in May and ... got engaged!
She has been around the block a good few times and was flitting from 1 short relationship to the other constantly. Regardless age, nationality, marital status, etc.
Just wondering what happens in a supposedly ''mature'' woman''s head to make her do things like this? What possibly could they have as ''common ground''? Apart from ''pillow talk'' I don''t think there is much else to bind them together.

OK, so he is indeed substantially younger than her. Getting engaged after first meeting is ridiculous and one must wonder why the desperate hurry ? Sounds like she is desperate for a relationship with somone younger than her ( maybe to help her fantasize that she, too, is younger and fresher ) ; one wonders what on earth is in it for him, other than a sugar mommy ?

Why is this bugging you and why are you making this your business??? Stay out of other people''s business and mind your own - she''s not shagging YOUR son so why get involved or wonder about it??? Get a life of your own - women like you make me SICK!!!
