What age would you say is too old to become pregnant. I am 38. Are there any tests that can be don? My hubby is 45.

At age 38, there is a slightly increased risk of Down syndrome. This can be screened for when you are pregnant and an amniocentesis can give a definite diagnosis. There is no age that is too old, but the risks do increase after 35.

Best wishes
