Our expert says:
The breakfast you describe is certainly low in energy, so it will promote weightloss. However, after an overnight fast it is a good idea to rather have a more substantial breakfast with larger portions of the suggested foods to raise low blood sugar levels so that you can think and work in the morning. Eating a small low-energy breakfast will also lead to overeating at other meals during the day and can promote cravings. So have at least 250 ml low-fat yoghurt with 1/2 cup of oat bran and a large apple or even a boiled egg for your breakfast.
