Adoption Leave and Legislation

Good Day

Please could you clarify the law &  adoption leave for me?

My company wants to offer me 3 months paid at 16.66% of my annual salary &  me claiming the rest from UIF.

Apparently Basic Conditions stipulates 4 months leave with adoption benefits payable for 6 months...

Social Services mentioned the need to take 6 months leave?

I am now very confused. Please could you let me know exactly what leave I can take and how long I can claim benefits from?
