adhd and depression

is it more difficult to treat someone with adhd for depression and will a phsycologist be efficient?

Hmm. Its always slightly more complex to plan effective treatment for someone with two problems than one, but a properly experienced psychiatrist shouldn't have a problem planning treatment for both ADHD and Depression. Although a psychologist who does CBT ( Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy ) can be very helpful with Depression, I'm not convinced that this treatment without appropriate medication is best for ADHD
