Accutane

I have stopped Accutane 13 months ago and just found out that I am one month pregnant, I just wanted to know if it was safe to fall pregnant a year after Accutane and what tests can be done to see if Accutane is still in my system.

Hi Nancy, thank you for the question.

There should be no problem falling pregnant 1 year after stopping the Roaccutane (the recommendation is to wait 9 months) but I suggest that you make an appointment with your obstetrician so that everything can be checked.
