Absent Periods

Please help is it possible for my 14y old daughters periods to stay away for 4 months. She got her first period last year September on her birthday. She then had 1 more period the next month and after that no more periods, is this normal or should I get her to a Gynae for a check up, and she is definatley not pregnant incase anyone would want to pose that question.

This is quite normal. It can take a year or more for periods to settle into a regular cycle.

Best wishes
