A question on Salt

Hi Doc

Does adding salt to your food, add more calaories in it, or does is hinder weight loss in any way?

Salt or sodium chloride does not contain any energy or kJ. It can be used in moderation to make food taste better, but don't use too much because this can cause water retention which will make you weigh more even if you are losing fat.
