I am being told by my employer that I have to use my vacation leave for medical (dentist) appointments, treatments, scans, etc, if done during working hours. Is this correct in terms of SA law (labour, basic conditions of employment, etc)? Or can sick leave be used instead? Please let me know which laws address this. Not what you were looking for?
