Spider Bites

Morning. I have a bit of a strange question: since October 2011 my husband has been bitten by spiders (we believe it is sack spiders) a total of 6 times (5 times on his right leg and now on his right hand). Every time we go to the Dr and it is confirmed a spider bite and he has to be on antibiotics for 2 / 3 weeks. I also have to mention that it is not in the same spot/province each time - it happens all over South Africa. I was bitten twice (once at our house and once in New Zealand - and yes, i thought they do not have poisonous spiders but i had to go to hospital and they said i was "touched" by a poisonous spider but the spider bite was exactly the same (looks and Symptoms) as in SA. This year our two toddlers were also bitten by spiders, the one in SA and the other one in Mauritius. Now my question: Is it possible that once you have been bitten, other spiders can smell or something that they keep biting? Silly question, i know, but we are getting worried about all the spider bites... Thank you and kind regards
