Pre-Fertility Testing

Hi there Would appreciate an answer asap. We've been ttc for five years, during this time I had a laproscope and endometrial ablation in 2009 and I suspect my endometriosis could be back or I could have PCOS. What tests can be done for PCOS? We are seeing a fertility specialist in October (only reason we're waiting until then I have started a new job and need to pass my probation period to make sure) - in the meantime we are to have the following tests : Male Female U & E + Creatinine x x Fasting glucose x x Fasting Insulin * x x Liver Functions x x TSH * x x Free T4 x x FSH x x 17-B Oestradiol (E2) - x LH x x Free Testosterone x x Growth hormone x x Prolactin x x Antenatal with HIV - x Spermiogram x - Phospholipid antibodies - x ANF - x Full blood count, platelets ESR Both male and female HIV Antibodies (Routine screen) Male Any reason why they would want my husband to be tested for LH, FSH, Prolatcin - I cant imagine why they would want to test him for Lutenising hormones and follicle stimulating hormones... Also, we both know we are HIV negative as we tested at the start of our relationship in 2004 before we started sleeping together and we've both been faithful. Can we forego the antenatal with hiv and the hiv antibodies tests if we know our statuses? The antenatal with hiv is over R1200! And I know I'm not pregnant as I've finished my period a week ago...
