Protein Supplements are not always necessary. It contains 27g of Protein, and creatine in order to maintain and support lean muscle weight. However 27g of Protein is equivalent to approximately 120g-160g of Chicken breast which will relatively be easily consumed at a lunch or Supper. The supplement also contains creatine monohydrate, it is safe at certain dosages and is effective for small increases in lean body mass but generally with repeated high-intensity, short duration (<30seconds) bouts.
