Home > Experts > Question Question Posted by: Ester | 2013/04/19 Need therapy Hi there I have a psychological problem with my ex. In all honesty I think it is Stockholm syndrome (this has been independently suggested by 3 other people as well). I have seen a social worker. I have seen many doctors and I have been on different antidepressents and mood stabilisers over that last 3 years. I saw a psychologist for 6 months. But nothing is helping. Instead of getting better I am just getting worse. I find the psychology sessions useless, all the talking and understanding in the world is not making a change to my brain. And this was someone I especially chose because she said she is trained in CBT. So now I don't know what to do. It can't go on like this. My brain is frying and feels full of holes. Some days I think it will be better to be dead. I need to get my life back but how??? I still want my ex back even after all the horror he put me through. Luckily? for me he does not want me back. But I just can't move on and leave him alone. I hate it. Not what you were looking for?
