Am I on the right track?

I am 47 years old and was not properly treated 24 years ago for depression after the birth of my second baby. I have been suffering with depression ever since. I was on 20mg Cilift for 15 years, which worked perfectly for me and I had no problems at all. In 2010 I had to put my dog to sleep and then two days later, my Mom passed away. I arranged her funeral and everything in pairs and in April 2010, I collapsed. I was admitted to hospital twice in 2011 and twice in 2012. My Cilift doses increased to from 20mg-40mg but I was not satisfied with my improvement and changed the Psychiatrist. My medicine was then reduced to 150g Venlor and again after seven months to 300mg Wellbrutin due to Venlor’s side effects. My situation became worse. On 300mg Wellbrutin I was 24/7 dizzy, tired, always sick and I gained 5 kilo’s. I used it for 2 months and stopped drinking it because I could feel how miserable this pill made me. At night I started to feel better, which proofed that it was the medicine not corresponding with me. When I was admitted to hospital two weeks ago, blood was taken and my serotonin was tested. According to my GP it must be above 80 and mine is 65 – severe depression. My GP put me back on Cilift because it worked perfectly for many years. I started with 20mg and am now for two weeks on 40mg. Please advise.. Should I increase it to 60mg or stay for a week longer on 40mg to see if it works? I feel much better but far from normal. I only want to sleep, eat and it feels as if I am living in my own world.
