5 yr old clenching fists

My 5 yr old has suddenly started clenching his fists and curling up his toes. He will be doing something and then he will stop and do one or the other. He has started a new school and there has been a little incident. Do you think this is for the reason and wili it pass or could it be something else. In the mean while how do we respond to him doing this?

Kids may develop odd tics and similar habits when under stres and anxious, and they usually fae out as they settle in to a new environment. Talk calmly about he incident, and help him to feel confident. If the tics continue, a child pschologist / counsellor could help him give up the bad habit
