1st gynea appointment 8 Nov

Hi doc, Iv book my 1st gynae app for the 8th and I''m reading things like rectal exams to feel my overies better?! Is this true? Can I skip that step?

You would have a vaginal examination. Rectal examinations are only done in women over 45, or if there is a suspicion of advanced cancer of the cervix.

Hi. My doc did a pap test, then an internal whilst pressing on my stomach to check for enlarged ovaries, and lumps.
