Watercress

Watercress has many health benefits: it is a traditional treatment for eczema , counters anaemia, may reduce cancer risk and helps avoid and treat infections.

Watercress provides concentrated antioxidant protection. It must be washed well before eating. Watercress will wilt after a few days, so it is best to eat it as soon as possible.

Raw watercress is very low in calories and can be eaten freely. It provides a large portion of an adult's calcium and folate needs.
