However, these convenient electronic accessories could also be the cause of your mysterious neck ache problems, according to a study published in IOS Press. But a few simple adjustments mean you won’t have to toss out your tablet just yet.

Harvard School of Public Health experts say the biggest no-no is holding your tablet on your lap. This forces you to look down and painfully pulls on neck muscles. To avoid strain, you should change positions often, or rest your device on a table or counter. Holding devices, instead of them perched in tablet cases, also places pressure on the hands and forearms.
