Why kissing is so important

Who doesn’t love a kiss? Whether it’s an I’m-off-to-work peck on the lips or a long, sensual locking of the lips and tangling of the tongues, kissing is how we show love, or at least lust.

Couples who have been together for a while, however, can start to fall out of the habit. The words “good night” are no longer accompanied by a little smooch and even sex can lose some of its passion when the kissing goes out of it.

Science says this is bad, a study by Oxford University found that kissing is actually an exceptionally important tool for helping us choose mates and communicate with them. Here’s more detail on what they discovered, but if you don’t have time to read it, just trust us and go kiss somebody.
