Sensible snacking

accreditation
We all enjoy snacking, whether it’s in front of the TV, at our desks or while reading a good book. And snacking is not all bad if you do it in moderation and know when to stop.

Take action:

The next time you feel like noshing, dish up your snack instead of eating it out of the original container. Research shows that people who eat out of the original container, like a packet of chips, do not stop until they they reach the bottom of the container.

And most times the hand-to-mouth action is involuntary, especially when your attention is focused on something else. This means that one can easily overeat without even realising it.

How to make healthy snacks that don't taste terrible!
