Dagga has often been seen as a safe drug. Nobody has ever been known to overdose on it and its behavioural effects are much milder than some of its more infamous friends.

New research, however, is warning people to be wary of hitting the bong as often as they like. Just because it’s safer, it doesn’t mean it’s safe. The study found strong relationships between weed and a wide range of rather negative consequences. Fortunately, most of these were only associated with regular smoking, so if you’ve just had a smattering of joints in your past, there’s no need to worry. You can see the full list of problems here.
