For most people, exercise is basically cruel and unusual punishment and the sooner you can get out of the darn gym, the better. However, you know it’s good for you, and hopefully you’ll replace that beer belly with an actual six pack. What you really DON’T want to be doing is wasting your time, sweat and tears and not getting a result.

Unfortunately, there’s a very high chance you aren’t exercising right.  Most people get into bad habits with their fitness regime and don’t realise it. Instead, they thrash away at the super circuit and get disheartened when sad thrashing doesn’t turn into smaller thighs.

Your workout could be inefficient, ineffective and, even, dangerous. Here are the ten most common fitness mistakes you might be making, and how not to.
