The warning signs of "technology addiction" include: using SMSs, e-mails and social media when face-to-face communication would be more appropriate; limiting time with loved ones to answer e-mails, surf the internet or spend time on social media; an inability to leave home without a cellphone, or to relax without constantly checking your inbox, or to stop using the internet.
