A Gqeberha man admitted in the Eastern Cape High Court on Tuesday that he murdered his real estate agent wife two days after Christmas last year and "only stopped stabbing her when her blood spattered in my face".
Cheryl-Ann Kannemeyer, 61, was found fatally wounded inside her car, a Honda Jazz, at the couple's home on Beetlestone Road in Gelvandale on 27 December 2023.
As part of a plea agreement, Colin Kannemeyer, 58, was convicted and sentenced to 25 years in prison for the murder.
