The Energy Intensive Users Group (EIUG) has welcomed the passing of the Electricity Regulation Amendment Bill, which brings to effect Eskom's unbundling into three entities and paves the way for other generators to enter the electricity supply industry.

"We look forward to the president signing this bill into law," said Fanele Mondi, spokesperson for the EUIG on Saturday.
