Two students studying at the Africa Skills Private College in George were on-site when a five-storey building collapsed on Monday in Victoria Street, George.
On Friday afternoon, the college confirmed to News24 the students were on-site to complete their apprenticeships as electricians.
College spokesperson Phillip Harmse said for students to complete their studies, they needed to be mentored by qualified red seal artisans.
